Here is the first of Finn’s weekly photo. Yes, we’ve decided to go with 52 weekly photos. 52 different pieces of fabric. A textile lover’s dream. You can read more about this idea here. So can this really be accomplished? Let’s wait until week 2 to find out.

This past week our friends and family blessed us with a few congratulatory flower arrangements. I love to have fresh flowers in the house and in my opinion, you can never have too many. When the arrangements start to go bad, I like to take them apart and save the flowers that are still healthy and make new, smaller arrangements out of them. I’ve had flowers last for several weeks this way, even simple bouqets from Publix.

I realize this post ought to have been before the previous post. This is Finn just a mere 2 or more hours after his birth. In the previous post, he is 2 days old.

Born October 19th at 5:59pm. 8 pounds, 3 ounces. 20 3/4 inches long. Here he is at barely 2 days old. I am in love.
